If you were at the Seoul Station subway stop this past week, you might have been accosted by a pamphlet-dispensing chicken.
Fear not. It was just an AK in a chicken suit campaigning for attention (to adoption issues, that is).
That's right. AKs love dressing up as farm animals (donning roller blades in one instance, not pictured) to make a point about what's wrong with adoption.
What was the point? Something about farm animals. No, wait. Baby farms. No, wait. Baby animals?
A box full of baby chicks might have garnered more positive attention, but what AK living in Korea does not want to dress up in a chicken suit for a day and freak out a bunch of commuting Koreans?
Attention is like publicity. AKs will take it, good or bad, in the service of their mission.
Take a closer look at the picture and you'll notice that running around town in a chicken suit also is a great way to get more personal space in a crowded metropolitan city that does not afford even a finger's width.
